Jw Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa, Paradise Valley

Staying in an upgraded room in a casita was a perfect experience, though room assignments are on the day of arrival. The hotel offers a great location in the beautiful Scottsdale area, surrounded by well-kept gardens and stunning mountain views, ideal for a girls' getaway, away from the hustle of other big hotels.

The hotel is in a lovely Scottsdale area, offering a quiet upscale experience with well-kept facilities, fire pits, and cozy casitas. However, the room quality is just okay and falls short of JW Marriott standards.

My stay at this hotel was a mix of ups and downs. The rooms were amazing, spacious, with a lovely terrace, and the bathroom amenities were top-notch. However, we faced some unexpected challenges with weather conditions and room flooding, which disrupted our experience. The service was outstanding, with a friendly and accommodating staff willing to assist anytime. The location offered peaceful surroundings with great mountain views, but there were minor inconveniences related to the cancellation notice and valet service. The dining experience was enjoyable, especially the Mediterranean food, although pricing could be a bit steep. Overall, a stay with both pleasant surprises and unexpected hiccups.

I felt semi-isolated when we were informed at check-in that only 2 people could have breakfast, and the third would have to pay. Despite that, the room was clean, and all our prior requests for extras were already prepared when we arrived.
